The Dustless Technologies 16006 wet dry vac is a high powered, light weight vacuum that can perform in varied environments.   Many people who reviewed this vac stated that having the ability to go from wet to dry without having to change the filter was a time saving feature.  Also, with its 1 ½ inch wide mouth hose and unique filtering system, it can pick up large debris all the way down to the smallest dust measured in microns.   Although, some people who reviewed this vacuum mentioned that they could see some dust on the outside surface of the unit after its use, many people states when used properly, it produced no dust what so ever.

Sometimes just using a shampooer just doesn’t cut it when it comes to pet stains. We love our furry friends, but the stains they cause can be so annoying and hard to get rid of. They are gross and very unsanitary. Here are a few steps to help eliminate those dreaded stains.

  • Locate. Locate the stains. This can be done by using your nose, looking for discolored carpet, and last but very effective is the use of a black light. Black lights can even detect older stains not visible to the naked eye.

 

  • Blot. With a dry towel blot the spot (if fresh) to remove as much urine as possible. This helps to get rid of as much urine as possible before cleaning the area.

 

  • Liquid detergent. Only using a small amount of liquid detergent pour onto fresh clean towel and rub the stain.

 

  • Mix. Mix 1/2 of a cup of white vinegar and a 1 quart of warm water into a bowl.

 

  • Pour. On stain pour in small amounts of the vinegar and water mixture. Let sit for about 10 to 13 minutes to ensure it penetrates the carpet to the deepest fibers.

 

  • Shampooer. Using your shampooer suck up as much of the vinegar and water mixtures as possible. And let dry.

To help with any existing odor sprinkle baking soda over treated area before vacuuming.
